The poor weather did not dampen anyone’s spirits for Natalie and Graeme’s Wynyard Hall wedding. Everyone was in a relaxed mood when we arrived to capture the Bride and Groom preparing for the big day.
Natalie and her Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Frances Ann suite with is great for Bridal prep photographs with its natural light and distinctive turquoise paneled walls. This is a chance to photograph the dresses hanging up and details such as the Brides shoes, jewellery, perfume etc and the final retouches on hair and makeup. Despite the nervous anticipation of the ceremony to come the girls were great fun and we were able to get some lovely natural shots of Natalie’s closest friends and family together.
Graeme and his Groomsmen were just as chilled while making their last minute adjustments to their outfits downstairs in the Library Bar.
Both Natalie and Graeme looked stunning when the time came for their wedding ceremony in the stunning Wynyard Chapel. The smiles continued during the vows and nerves put aside they continued thoroughly enjoy the rest of the day and appreciate every moment.
A break in the rain allowed us to get some beautiful shots outside the chapel and in front of the magnificent facade of the hall while the Mirror Room was perfect for some group shots of family and friends.
Aside from photographing the key moments of a wedding our key focus is always to capture the spontaneous natural moments throughout the day. There was plenty opportunity to do this as the fun and laughter continued during the speeches and in to the evening as Natalie and Graeme prepared to cut the wedding cake and enter the dance floor for their first dance.
