If you want to see more Wynyard Hall wedding photos featuring the Chapel please get in touch.
Why did you choose your venue?
We chose Wynyard Hall because of how beautiful and idyllic it was. We always wanted a religious ceremony as well and the Wynyard Hall chapel took our breath away. The venue for us had everything we wanted. A grand beautiful building, the most stunning chapel on-site, and amazing outside surroundings perfect for reception drinks on the terrace by the lake.
Did you have a theme? What was the inspiration for your wedding?
We went for a more rustic/ elegant theme with plenty of lace, cream and white flowers with foliage. We didn’t want to overdo the decorating as the venue was so beautiful to start with. Our centrepieces were done by Zoe the wedding florist who matched the flowers from the bouquet to the centrepieces, there were multiple jars with candles all stood on a log stand.
What was your wedding colour scheme?
We didn’t really focus so much on a colour scheme, we decided to stay quite subtle with the colours. All the flowers and decorating was cream/white. The bridesmaids’ dresses were a pale lilac and the men’s suits were a navy tweed.
Tell us about your dress and grooms wear:
The dress was purchased from The Wedding dress company, Co-bridge. It was “Doyle” from Willow by Watters. It was a fully floral lace with a champagne gold under layer, the back was low with a tattoo effect lace detail over the shoulders. The grooms wear was a three-piece navy tweed suit, with a burgundy knitted tie. The shoes were brown leather brogues.
Who did your hair and makeup?
My make-up was done by the amazing Vicky Hedley who was accompanied by Emily Bunker. They are both so talented and amazing at what they do. They were excellent at tailoring the make-up needs to all my bridesmaids’ needs as some preferred a more subtle look to others. My hair was done by Kathryn Allen from Nevaeh Salon, she was fantastic and gave me the exact style I wanted.
Who did your flowers and what did you chose?
Zoe The wedding florist supplied all our bouquets, centres pieces, buttonholes and corsages. I chose Zoe by recommendation and as she did not disappoint. Zoe was also able to add a small photo frame for relatives who had passed to the bridal bouquet and the grooms’ buttonhole, it was such a lovely and sentimental touch.
Are there any other suppliers you would like to mention?
Focal Point without question was fantastic and also Snapparazi for the photobooth and platinum starlight for the LOVE letters and uplighting of the room.
What was your favourite part of the day?
There were so many parts of the day it would be simply too hard to choose. Every part was so special for so many different reasons. The highlights for us would be the morning leading up to the ceremony spending the time with our closes friends/family, my dad seeing me for the first time, the ceremony, the speeches during the meal was brilliant too. The evening as a whole was equally as amazing!
