It was a pleasure to be part of Chloe and Ben’s May wedding at Eshott Hall. Their ceremony took place in Eshott Hall’s Reading Room chapel just a short walk from the Hall itself. The day began with Bridal preparations in the beautiful Versaille room with photographs of the dress and all the other details personal to Chloe’s wedding day. Everyone was in a relaxed mood as Ben and his groomsmen made their way with the guests to ‘The reading Room’.
Chloe looked amazing in her Evangelina dress by Maggie Sorretto as she glided down the staircase past the magnificent stained glass window to join her dad and bridesmaids before the ceremony.
Following their marriage everyone took a leisurely stroll back to Eshott Hall to enjoy drinks in the grounds. The fine weather gave us the opportunity to get some great shots of family and guests enjoying the day.
We love the wild meadow at the back of Eshott Hall at this time year for capturing shots of the Bride and Groom walking through the long grass hand in hand.
The fun and laughter continued during the speeches and into the evening for their first dance and cutting of the cake.
What was your favourite part of the day?
Walking down the stairs in my dress, seeing Ben’s face at the bottom of the aisle and the dancing.
What would be your top tip for another bride/groom to be?
Spend as much time as you can with your parents! As well as your groom. Meeting everyone the night before at an informal buffet or dinner is a great way to ensure that you feel you have spoken to everyone before the day so that you can focus on each other on your wedding day. Surround yourself by your favourite people on your day and remember to take moments just to mentally photograph what you see!
Remember you are marrying each other because you love each other. The other stuff is just stuff and it doesn’t matter!
How did we do?
You were both fantastic. It felt so easy on the day and I certainly didn’t feel like I was having my photo taken all day. We kept to time (which for me was important!) You made it all very easy. Thank you, we are so excited to see the pictures.
